FGSA SR is only ¼"(6mm) or ½" (13mm) in thickness, but it offers excellent sound absorption within a wide frequency range. Unlike foam plastics or mineral wool, there is no need to increase the thickness of the material in order to achieve good low frequency absorption. 

The Film facing is a very thin Mylar film reinforced by a Ripstop Nylon scrim to prevent any mechanical damage propagating across the whole panel
